Back when people wrote songs we could hum along to Simon and Garfunkel made top records mostly for films, but they split due to artistic differences after Artie made a film about rabbits. Their biggest hit was Knees Up Mother Robinson, and Everybody's Talking About Me. They also recorded Sound of Silence, a record which featured seventy minutes of silence after the song. Paul went to Graceland, Elvis' hometown in Africa and soon found a new partner in Chevy Chase. He went on to invent the groundbreaking electronic game Simon. Artie who wrote none of the songs found himself at a loose end after making porno films with Harvey Keitel and so went out and opened a chain of upmarket burger restaurants. Now they won't talk to each other but often share a pint of milk at the local malt bar on Green Dolphin Street. They are not to be confused with Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel who were more famous but not as good.
